Affton offers transloading services at our facilities in St. Louis,
Missouri. With direct access via the Burlington Northern main line rail to our
site, our capabilities include trailer to trailer, truck to rail, or
rail to truck, with custom applications also available. We can handle
bulk and packaged goods with ample room for storage either on dock,
ground or bulk storage tank.
8 Centerbeam Car Spots.
We offer an amazing 8 centerbeam car spots for the loading
and/or unloading of rail cars in either bulk or grounded storage
or transloading. Access to our facility is via BNRR main line
tracks, and services include loading, unloading and storage, or
transloading of nearly any commodity. Custom operations can be
arranged as requested.
8 Boxcar Dock Spots.
Transloading may also include packaged or palletized commodities
requiring cross-dock service. Affton offers rail space for 8 boxcars
adjacent to cross-dock facilities. Both truck-to-rail and rail-to-truck
can be achieved.
15,000 ft² Covered Storage.
Our dock facilities provide for covered storage for long or short term
usage.
50 Acres Onsite Storage.
Affton customers enjoy a distinct advantage by having 50 acres of
storage available onsite. This allows our transloading customers the
option of keeping product here with no need for immediate reloading and
removal to offsite storage.
125 Acre Facility. Affton
maintains one of the largest independently owned facilities of its type
in the Midwest, offering more than 125 acres of space designed to meet the customer’s intermodal
needs. Much of the space is “convertible”, meaning usage may vary as
often as the customer's needs change.
Inventory Management. Affton
can not only store your product, but we can give you real-time results
on both incoming and outgoing product.
Logistics/Distribution.
Customer involvement need be no more than a phone call when selecting

Daily Car Spotting. We
recognize that it does no good to have your product staged if you can’t
get it on or off the train. We offer car spotting daily to and from our
facilities to minimize rail delays.

security along with on-site watchmen to protect your product 24 hours a
day, 7 days a week.
