Affton provides Terminal Services to many of the world's largest
steamship lines. Located at 420 Gimblin, St. Louis, Missouri, we offer
125
acres of storage capacity with a layout guaranteed to
keep your units accessible and eliminate trucker complaints for
delay. Public business hours are: 8
a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, with 24/7 access to Affton trucks.
Equipment. We
segregate, categorize and store empty units according to line and
type. Chassis and mounted units are stored in their own area.
Multiple late model Taylor top lifts (Taylor 4 and 5 high spotters
and service trucks), designed for maximum driver efficienty, are
used.
We provide loaded storage in our
High
Security Enclosure (the HSE). This special area is fenced,
lighted, electrified, guarded and under camera surveillance 24 hours
a day to provide customers with the most modern security available.
IICL Certified.
Our depot staff is a highly trained and experienced group, with IICL
Certified Management, that will assist in monitoring dwell time,
inventory and active interchange agreements.

efficient layout.
Damage Keyed at Inspection.
When equipment is in short supply, any delay can cause lost
bookings. Units arriving at Affton are inspected per our customer
requirements and immediately any damages are noted and keyed,
allowing our customer real-time access to their equipment, with no
lost time. This difference means not only faster equipment turn
time, but also lower equipment needs.
Check Booking and Equipment.
At Affton there is no need to speculate on the specific bookings or
availability of equipment. Both can be checked either online via
email or by
telephone to ensure the prompt service that today’s truckers
require.
Maintenance Services.
The services of Affton's experienced maintenance technicians are
available.
Reporting.
Available daily, weekly and monthly including inventory and
activity. Customized reporting is also available.
Inventory Checks.
Your inventory and unit status is checked and monitored regularly by
our trained, experienced personnel.
Easy Access Inspection.
Documentation is available electronically within 48 hours of the
transaction. Our customer service reps are happy to supply your
bills of lading or other support documents.
EDI Active.
Inventory, activity and unit status is available 24 hours per
day on a real-time basis through complete EDI service designed
to keep our customers informed.
